I think it looks pretty decent, but it still needs some work, and I can't quite put my finger on what; help me out here.

I may disagree with you elsewhere, but I can agree that you have some cool stuff in your gallery. I really like this, The blues and blacks give a very coll and peaceful look. As far as what needs work, the right side seems just a little empty to me.

.... only joking, if you want to improve the picture, perhaps improving the atmospheric effect on the planet, but that's the only thing i can think of.... besides, its a great pic. Fav time!!!  -- Bluefinger - "I could drag Salvador Dali from the grave to say whatever he wants here, and even though his works are jaw-dropping amazing, he'd probably sound like a blathering LSD dope completely unable to form a coherent sentence." *vest  Thank you; I was a bit wary of using blue because of the rather common overuse of the colour, but I suppose everyone should have one blue Spacescape in their gallery. The right side is rather empty, but I couldn't think of anything to add without crowding the piece.
-- Dusted. I think I over-erased at the top...I should go in and fix it. Looking at it now, a bit of a lighting effect on the planet surface wouldn't hurt either.

-- Dusted.  Personally, i think the planet needs a bit more defining. The light would reach a bit furthur on your planet to the center. I'd also add a bit more variating color to the stars... not all stars are blue- actually i think its not a lot of stars are blue. But other than those 2 factors, everything is pretty good.
