One of my favorite pieces to date. A blend of a lot of different things, so I hope this is the right category...

i dont know what this makes me think, apart from its great. Its almost electrical in its appearance, and that is very hard to find. Well done :D

Thanks, I worked on this for a long time...I've revised and changed things a dozen or so times.

Thanks, I used two of my favorite 2D styles on that piece...I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Amazing piece. I dont know the term you'd use to describe it, but the graphic user interface is so detailed. The colors used are great and the matrix code effect top left really compliments the colors of the space backdrop. What did you use to make the streaming code? Actually I'm curious to know what you used to make all the effects there because theyre truly great.

All the grey/black mechanical parts are made with nothing more than patience, and a grid. The Electrical-looking gibberish inside there is something I honestly don't think I could re-create, it came from screwing around with some effects. The matrix lines are done by taking the "Grain" texture, running it vertically, and playing around with the Neon Glow effect.

What program did you use for all of this? With grain and neon glow it sounds like photoshop.... Did you make the mechanical parts in that too? I've used photoshop for years now, im far from an expert in it, but i wouldnt have the slightest clue where to begin to make effects like that. Like you said though, some of the best effects come from you just playing around with all the settings and stumbling across something you really like.
